우리의 나이가 나무리 많다 해도 이십대를 돌이켜보는 순간은

이십대만큼 젊어지고 순수하고 뜨거워질 수 있으리.  

피곤한 우리 삶에 문득 과거의 어느 순간을 떠올리는 것은,

잃어버린 지나날을 되찾아 다시금 그 젊음을 느껴 보는 것이며 피곤을 씻는 청량제가 되리라.

한정된 목숨을 살며 돌아갈 수 없는 세월에 묶였으면서도,

운명을 비웃듯이 거대한 물줄기를 잽싸게 거슬러 올라가,

지나온 날 살아온 세월의 어느 매듭과 그 매듭의 빛깔과 냄새와 느낌을 맛보는 것이야 말로,

무한정의 인생을 풍요하게 이어 가며 즐기는 것이 아니랴.
